DAY 1 – "The Arctic Adventure Begins" The day has finally arrived! We’ll meet at the Bilbao airport, where Catai staff will assist you with the easy check-in process. We board our special direct flight to Kittilä, deep in the heart of Finnish Lapland. A snack will be served onboard to kick off our adventure. Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to Hotel Panorama Levi, just 20 minutes away. Nestled in stunning natural surroundings, this hotel offers breathtaking views and a cozy retreat. Waiting in your room will be your thermal suits, ready for use throughout your entire stay. After settling in, we’ll gather at the hotel restaurant to enjoy a delicious welcome dinner — the perfect way to start this magical escape. Let the adventure begin with #SantaClausinLapland!

DAY 2 – "Snowmobiles & Reindeer: A Frozen Rush" After a hearty breakfast, we get ready for one of the most thrilling activities of the trip: a snowmobile safari. Fully equipped with helmets and gloves, and after a safety briefing from our expert guides, adults will drive the snowmobiles (two per vehicle), while children ride in sleds pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. We’ll cruise through snow-covered forests and frozen lakes, embracing the wild beauty and peaceful silence of Lapland. A light lunch will be served during the excursion. In the afternoon, a calmer but equally magical experience awaits: a visit to a traditional reindeer farm. Here, we’ll enjoy a serene sleigh ride and hear fascinating stories from Sami herders, guardians of one of Lapland’s oldest ways of life. We return to the hotel for dinner and a well-deserved rest. An unforgettable day awaits in your memories!

DAY 3 – "Huskies, Sleighs & Santa's Secret Cabin" Today brings one of the most heartwarming experiences — especially for the little ones. After breakfast, we head to a husky farm, where the excited barks of these incredible dogs will greet us. Surrounded by pristine wilderness, we’ll receive instructions on how to drive the sled and team up with the dogs. Each sled accommodates two people — one as the musher, one as the passenger — with the chance to switch roles during the ride. After the initial excitement, you’ll begin to relax and take in the serenity of the snowy landscape. As always, we’ll pause for a light lunch in nature. In the afternoon, it's time for pure Christmas magic: the search for Santa Claus’s secret cabin. Deep in the forest, next to a frozen lake, we’ll enjoy snowshoeing, sledding, and fun outdoor games. Then, each family will have a private meeting with Santa Claus, where children can hand him their letters and receive a special gift. We return to the hotel for dinner. Expect hearts full of wonder and glowing smiles all around.

DAY 4 – "Free Day with Nordic Flavour" We wake up to a free day filled with possibility. After breakfast, you can choose how to enjoy your time: take the Gondola Pass down to Levi’s charming town center or hit the slopes of Finland’s largest ski resort, known for its superb snow conditions and postcard-worthy views. For those who wish to dive deeper into the Arctic experience, we offer optional excursions:

Snowshoe Trekking & Ice Fishing: Trek into the pristine winter forest, a paradise of silence and snow. Guided by a local expert, learn to attract fish beneath the ice using traditional techniques. Includes light lunch.

Dia 1 - Comienza la aventura Artica ¡Por fin ha llegado el día! Nos encontramos en el aeropuerto de Bilbao, donde el equipo de Catai os recibirá para ayudaros con todos los trámites de facturación. Embarcamos rumbo al norte en un vuelo especial directo a Kittilä, en el corazón de la Laponia finlandesa. A bordo, disfrutaremos de un snack para comenzar a saborear esta gran aventura. A nuestra llegada, el guía nos estará esperando para trasladarnos al hotel Panorama Levi, ubicado a tan solo 20 minutos. Este alojamiento, con unas vistas inmejorables y en plena naturaleza, será nuestro refugio invernal. Al llegar, nos estarán esperando los trajes térmicos que utilizaremos durante toda la estancia. Tras instalarnos, nos reuniremos en el restaurante del hotel para disfrutar de una deliciosa cena que marcará el inicio oficial de nuestra escapada mágica. ¡Empieza la aventura con #SantaClausinLapland!

DÍA 2 – "Velocidad entre Bosques Congelados" Tras un reconfortante desayuno en el hotel, nos prepararemos para una de las experiencias más emocionantes del viaje: el safari en moto de nieve. Equipados con cascos, guantes e instrucciones de seguridad, los adultos conduciremos nuestras propias motos (2 personas por moto), mientras los niños viajarán en trineos especiales guiados por el monitor. A lo largo del recorrido, cruzaremos bosques nevados y lagos helados, sintiendo la adrenalina y el silencio único de la Laponia más salvaje. Durante la excursión, haremos una parada para disfrutar de un almuerzo ligero. Por la tarde, nos espera una experiencia llena de tradición y calma: visitaremos una granja de renos. Allí, realizaremos un apacible paseo en trineo tirado por estos nobles animales y escucharemos las historias de los pastores sami, guardianes de una cultura ancestral. De regreso al hotel, nos espera una merecida cena y descanso. ¡Un día que dejará huella!

DÍA 3 – "Ladridos, Trineos y Magia de Navidad" Hoy viviremos uno de los días más esperados, especialmente por los más pequeños. Tras el desayuno, partiremos hacia una granja de huskies, donde los alegres ladridos nos darán la bienvenida. En este entorno natural y puro, aprenderemos cómo conducir el trineo y formar equipo con estos increíbles perros nórdicos. Cada trineo será manejado por dos personas (un musher y un pasajero), con posibilidad de intercambiar los roles durante el trayecto. Tras la emoción inicial, nos dejaremos llevar por la calma del entorno nevado. Como cada día, haremos una pausa para disfrutar de un almuerzo ligero al aire libre. Por la tarde llega el momento más mágico del viaje: la búsqueda de la cabaña secreta de Santa Claus. Nos adentraremos en el bosque, junto a un lago helado, donde disfrutaremos de juegos de nieve, trineos y raquetas. Cada familia, de forma privada, tendrá la oportunidad de visitar la cabaña de Santa Claus, compartir sus deseos y recibir un regalo especial para cada niño. Tras este momento tan emotivo, regresaremos al hotel para la cena. ¡La ilusión brillará en los ojos de todos!

DÍA 4 – "Día Libre con Sabor Nórdico" Hoy despertamos con el corazón lleno de recuerdos y un mundo de opciones por delante. Después del desayuno, dispondremos del día libre para explorar Levi a nuestro ritmo. Podremos usar el Gondola Pass para bajar al centro del pueblo o lanzarnos a las pistas de esquí de la estación más grande de Finlandia, con condiciones ideales de nieve y paisajes de postal. Para quienes quieran seguir explorando, ofrecemos excursiones opcionales inolvidables:

Paseo con raquetas de nieve y pesca en hielo: nos adentraremos en el bosque ártico, un paraíso blanco donde reinan el silencio y la belleza. Con la ayuda de un guía, aprenderemos a practicar la pesca bajo el hielo con técnicas tradicionales. Incluye almuerzo ligero.

Excursion prices for snowmobiles and sleds are based on two people sharing the vehicle.

La edad mínima para conducir las motos de nieve es 18 años, los niños de edad inferior irán, en función de su peso y estatura, en un trineo que arrastra la moto nieve del guía.

The minimum age to drive a snowmobile is 18. Younger children will ride in a sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile, depending on their height and weight.

A valid car driving license, recognized in Europe, is required to operate a snowmobile and must be carried during the excursion.

Due to weather conditions (such as snow or ice accumulation) and for safety reasons, excursions may be subject to changes in itinerary, duration, or even cancellation without prior notice.

The organizer cannot guarantee weather, snow, or ice conditions necessary to carry out the excursions or safaris offered. In the event that force majeure prevents the completion of any activity, an alternative excursion will be arranged, or the cost of the cancelled activity will be refunded upon return—either in full if the activity is cancelled, or partially if conditions only allow for partial completion.

Smoking in accommodations where it is prohibited may result in heavy fines, which can reach up to €4,500 per person
