Lapland is a spectacular place, a place where we can be amazed by its wonderful nature in all aspects, full of fauna, with large green and snowy expanses and unique phenomena such as the northern lights, without a doubt an experience that must be lived.

We start off this trip with your arrival in Oslo and your fabulous hotel. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport on your own. Flight departure to Kirkenes. Arrival and regular transfer to the hotel. This northeastern city is only 10 miles from the Russian border. The area offers a world of experiences for the adventurous traveler who wants to experience mountains, fjords, forests, lakes and the beautiful dancing Northern lights. Approximately 10% of the population are Russians and you will find road signs in both Russian and Norwegian. Check the welcome letter, which you will receive when you check in at the hotel, and take note of where and when the meeting with the circuit guide is. Rest of the day free.

Breakfast. Early in the morning we will leave to start the fantastic “optional” adventure of the King Crab Safari. Once the Safari is over, we will leave for Saariselka. We will travel south through the landscapes of Northern Lapland towards the center of the Sámi world. We will stop in the capital of Lapland, Inari in the heart of Sapmi, in a unique landscape on the shore of Lake Inari. Here we will visit the Sami Cultural Center "Sajos" and the Parliament. The “Sajos” Center functions as a self-government to protect Sami culture, education and know-how. A conference center and modern facilities, infrastructure and technology go hand in hand with true Sami culture. We will then continue to the small town of Saariselka, a winter sports center in Finland. Arrival at the hotel. Rest of the day free.

Half pension. After breakfast the adventure continues in the direction of the fantastic Santa's Igloos located about 6 miles from Rovaniemi. During the journey you will visit one of the highlights of the trip. Meet the traditional Sami who will inform you about reindeer and Sami culture in relation to the importance of reindeer to it. Our host will teach us to throw the Suopunki (the Sami bow). In two-person sleighs, you will experience this traditional and peaceful way of moving as you glide through white landscapes over the lake and through the forest, where the only sound to be heard is the faint melody of reindeer bells. A typical lunch is served during the farm visit. Continuation through the white forests to arrive at the Arctic Snow Hotel, for your accommodation in a glass igloo. Enjoy the warmth of your igloo with its transparent dome-shaped roof from where you can admire, weather permitting, the impressive Aurora Borealis and the millions of stars from your bed.

Half pension. At mid-morning, departure from the Arctic Snow Hotel towards the famous Rovaniemi. The largest city in Lapland. On the banks of the Kemi-joki river we will visit one of the most idyllic Husky farms in the region. The barking of husky dogs will welcome you. You will also have the opportunity to take nice photos with these affectionate animals. After a brief instruction you will be able to drive your own husky sled. Once the activities with the dogs are over, you will have the opportunity to savor some delicious local sausages prepared over the coals with Lappish bread. We will end our picnic lunch with some delicious Lappish pancakes. The day continues with a visit to the world famous Santa Claus Village, built just above the Arctic Circle. Visit Santa's house where he himself will welcome you. A memory that will remain engraved in your memory forever. During the visit you can also send a letter to your loved ones that arrives at Christmas with a greeting from Santa Claus. Return to Rovaniemi and rest of the afternoon free.

Half pension. Departure to Kemi where a day full of activities awaits us. We will start with a visit to the impressive Snow Castle (subject to weather conditions) with its special snow slide and where you can enjoy the snow sculptures and the complex. Then we will embark on the Sampo Icebreaker, a 4-hour cruise breaking the ice in the Northern Gulf of Bothnia, which will be one of the highlights of this winter adventure. This incredible experience includes a guided tour of the ship, where you will have the opportunity to visit the engine room and control bridge, culminating with a hot lunch in the ship's restaurant. In the middle of the largest ice esplanade in Europe, you will have the opportunity to dive into the sea and float. We will have a suitable thermal suit for this activity and those who are encouraged to participate in this experience will also receive a certificate signed by the ship's authorities. Return to Rovaniemi in the late afternoon.

Breakfast. At the scheduled time, regular transfer to Rovaniemi airport for departure on a flight back home. Arrival.

The aurora borealis occurs when charged particles from the Sun collide with the Earth's atmosphere and our magnetic field directs them towards the poles, it is a wonderful and special phenomenon to witness since it occurs in very few places in the world, Lapland being one one of the best to witness.
